Sahel Solidarity

Sahel Solidarité is a citizens' initiative made up of CSOs such as Public Concern, ALDEPA, CADEPI, CROPSEC, CODASC, AEEDC, ALVF-EN, CAPROD, Oeil du Sahel, and people of goodwill at home and in the diaspora, to support the victims of the floods in the far north of Cameroon.

Through this initiative, essential donations have been distributed to the people of the Far North of Cameroon, who have been severely affected by the floods.

In less than a month, more than 14 million CFA francs have been collected to buy bags of flour, mats and non-food items, giving hope to thousands of families.

++1st Far North Civil Society Days

Public Concern took part in the first Far North Cameroon Civil Society Days, which were held on 20 and 21 November 2024 in Maroua.

These days were a valuable opportunity for exchange and sharing between the older and younger generations.
